This website was updated as a part of NCHRP Project 20-44(46): Implementing the Asset Valuation Guide Developed Through NCHRP Project 23-06. The objective of this implementation project was to promote and support further use of the asset valuation guide through the development and dissemination of outreach materials that provide an overview of the guide, through case studies, and through supplemental tools and worksheets. The results of this project were added to the web-based version of the asset valuation guidance.
For a complete list of changes made to the guidance, please refer to the Update Overview page located in the Support Materials dropdown at the top of this page.
As part of the enhancements made through NCHRP Project 20-44(46), an audio version of the guidance has been added to the website. This audio version was created using Voicemaker. While this text-to-speech platform is not considered generative AI, the research team deemed it important to credit the tool for its contribution and clarify that portions of the guide’s enhancements were created with this software, rather than human narration.
The audio version of the guidance can be downloaded from the Guidebook Downloads page for offline listening.
